Free scheduling app for coaches
Coaches book sessions with many clients and keep time free between sessions. OpenCal gives you one free link where clients see your open times and book a session.
What is a free scheduling app for coaches?
OpenCal is a free scheduling app. Coaching clients see your open times and book a session. You sign in with Google or Microsoft, choose which calendars count as busy, and share one link. A client signs in with Google or Microsoft to book. OpenCal takes the client's name and verified email from that account.
Can clients book a 90-minute session?
Yes, OpenCal books sessions from 5 to 480 minutes in 5-minute steps, including 90 minutes. The standard lengths are 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 1 hour. You can type 90 or 1:30 for a 90-minute session. OpenCal checks that the whole session is free before it books.
Can I keep a break between coaching sessions?
Yes, OpenCal keeps a buffer around meetings that you set in Settings, under Hours. OpenCal subtracts busy time and the buffer from your hours before it shows a time as open. You can give each day its own ranges, such as 8 to 11 and 1 to 4.
Can I stop last-minute bookings?
Yes, OpenCal refuses a booking that starts sooner than your minimum notice. The default minimum notice is 2 hours. You change it in Settings, under Booking.
Can clients see my other clients?
No, OpenCal shows clients only your open times. Event titles, places, and guests never leave the OpenCal server. A client who signs in sees only the times that work for both of you.
Does OpenCal take payments or send reminders?
No, OpenCal does not take payments. OpenCal sends no email. If you send bookings to a Google or Outlook calendar, that calendar adds the client as a guest and emails the invite.
What does it cost?
OpenCal is free.
